Well, I put in the request for my January vacation time today - Erin did the same. Next step is to put the downpayment on the cruise, and we’ll be off to the races. We’re both pretty excited about it - we leave in 4 months, which doesn’t seem so far away right now. I guess the trick will be in paying for it :)

We’re going to Edmonton this weekend, for a mini-holiday, with Al and a bunch of his co-workers. Looking forward to that too. I guess we’ll likely pick up some of the stuff that we need for the cruise when we’re there - luggage being the big one. I don’t know how we both graduated highschool, then got married, and didn’t get given any luggage ;) That’s ok, we get to pick it out ourselves this way.

In the football draft news, I got my butt handed to me this week, though I still managed to eke out a single point. My guys all underperformed this week, with the exception of my defense. I’m still in second place, but that won’t last long, if my players do the same thing in the coming weeks.

This page is still not looking great, but I just don’t have the motivation to work on it while at work, and I can’t really work on it when I’m at home (I suppose I could, but I’m too lazy) I think I’m going to send the link out to a couple of people today though. Currently I’m writing for an audience of two (and I don’t even really know if they’re reading this…) so I might as well open that up a bit.

Hmmmm. Oh yeah, “Press Your Luck” made it’s debut on the Game Show Network this weekend. In case you don’t recognize the name, it’s the “Big Bucks, No Whammies” game show. If you don’t recognize that phrase, you’ve probably never seen it. In all, I only watched about an episode and a half, but it’s pretty entertaining to see people get a little too greedy, then have to pay for it by getting a whammy. The whammies themselves are mildly amusing still, though the “Michael Jackson” dancing to Billie Jean Whammy shows it’s age :)
