I’m back

I know, its been about a week since I posted. Since then, I was out sick Wednesday and Thursday, I came in on Friday, but was a bit busy to post, then the long weekend happened, and here we are, a week later.

I came across a cool link for those of you out there reading this page: The best paper airplane ever. I’ll admit that I haven’t made one yet, but like I said, I’ve been busy.

I also came across a link to a neat site that asks a bunch of questions, then figures out what famous robot you actually are…

So, seeing as it’s been a week since I updated, I was actually doing stuff that I can write about. I borrowed a PS2 demo disc from my brother, and played demos of Spy Hunter, Klonoa 2, ICO, and Gauntlet Dark Legacy. Spy hunter has great potential. The demo was kind of sucky, but mainly because it’s a demo. The gameplay was fun, and it controlled very well, there were just a few rough edges (which is understandable with a demo that’s taken from pre-release code) I think I should rent it at some point when I’ve got time again. Klonoa 2 was also fun, though it didn’t seem much different from Klonoa (which is good I guess, if it ain’t broke…) I found ICO quite boring, though it’s an interesting concept - I don’t think I’ll even bother renting it though. Gauntlet was by far the best demo on the disc though. I’m sure that it’ll be a blast to play 4 players.

I also played the Discworld game that I borrowed from my brother a long time ago. Pretty fun, though I’m quite sure that I have no clue what I’m supposed to be doing. Being sick sucks, but it gave me a chance to play some games.

Then, this weekend, we went to Russell Manitoba, to my Aunt’s place, for Thanksgiving. Generally included a bunch of card playing, and food. We gave one of those old P133’s to my cousin Shawna, and she seemed pretty happy, though I imagine that it’ll be a while before they buy a monitor for it. It’s kinda funny, cause it’s a ridiculously old computer, but it’s the same age as my home computer, which does everything I need it to quite well.

Oh yeah, and the Riders won, and even though they’re in last place, the radio announcers were talking about the Grey Cup (what a joke!) Call me back when a 13-7 win doesn’t require 4 exclamation points in the headline.
