Thanks for the plug for Blog :p I didn't realize that my app compared that well with a $400 app <vbg> As for webdav support, somebody did ask me about that for Blog but I didn't have time/couldn't figure out how to integrate it into the current setup. Plus, there's a ton of stuff that I want (and people want) for Blog that I still need to implement - such as a way to search entries, the mail account monitoring thingy so that you can have multiple users maintaining the site etc ... But why am I talking about Blog here anyways? :p

Just cause they gave up three goals i nthe third to wind up tied at 3-3 (after leading 3-0) doesn't mean they suck.

Now, the "kings" there's a team that sucks. The King of Kensington is a more royal king than any of those bozos...

/Me figured out who Cyber Skunk is - good ole' IP logging. Course I kinda figured what with the speed of the response and everything. :)

sftp shouldn't require much from the client side of things, no? What I've been led to believe is that once you've installed some sftp thing on NT, all your ftp clients can then deal with sftp sites transparently. Correct me if I'm wrong, cause that's just second hand info.

Wanna see something neat? Look at the timestamps for these comments - they were posted before the original post was :P

Well, for web publishing needs I wish things such as Blog would support webdav. Yes, it still may be plain text with respect to the password but you don't have to poke a million holes in your firewall or run special proxies.

And webdav could be run over SSL which makes it secure.

Builtin support for scp and or sftp into things such as bloggers would also be a nice feature.

Hehe, Cyber Skunk.. My old fidonet/bbs days alias.

p.s. Of course, when IPv6/IPsec/DNSSEC gain wide deployment, things such as ftp and telnet will be secure again :)
