I came across this link to the Journal of a new COBRA recruit today. Pretty amusing if you know GI Joe at all. I don’t think I ever owned a GI Joe, and I may have only seen the cartoon a couple of times when I was a kid, but I still got the joke.

I have also been a little remiss in my linking of weblogs that I read. I’ve just started reading WilWheaton.net - yes, that Wil Wheaton. He seems to be a pretty good guy, though I reserve judgement, because I haven’t gotten through all his archives yet :) It’s an entertaining read at any rate. What made me read it? I don’t remember, but I do know that I’d see his blog mentioned on more than one occasion, and I finally broke down and started reading it.

What else is new? Al’s brother Ross won a contest where they get flown out to Toronto, put up in a hotel, and sent to the Maple Leafs vs. the San Jose Sharks tomorrow night. Plus, Ross gets to take a penalty shot on Cujo, and he gets an autographed jersey and stuff. Seeing as how both Ross and Al are huge Leafs fans, I’m sure they’re busy out there in Toronto having the time of their lives right now. Hopefully Ross can keep Al out of trouble :) Al was really looking forward to it, so I’m sure he’ll have some great stories when he comes back. Plus, I suspect he’ll have taken a bunch of cool photos from their Gold level seats at the ACC - maybe even the look on Ross’s face after he beats Cujo high on the stick side…if Cujo lets him.
