The hockey game last night was fantastic. Plenty of tension, and the right team ended up on top. I’ve previously equated hockey to a really good suspense/thriller movie due to the way tension builds, and momentum swings. Last night was a perfect example of that. Overall I’d say that Canada played well, with some good physical play, and excellent defensive zone play (with the occasional breakdown - eliminate those, and you’ll never get beaten :) Very entertaining to watch.
Who’s next? Belarus, tomorrow at 1:00 Saskatoon time. I will be home watching it - all who wish to watch are once again welcome. I will also host the final game (either Saturday or Sunday, depending on if they beat Belarus - don’t want to sound overconfident, eh Mats?)
Good luck to Canada on their quest for Hockey Gold.

The wireless is nice - it’s one of those world-changing technologies, and it’s finally coming down in price.
Grand total was $468 (incl tax, shipping and insurance), and I see the prices have dropped a buck or two since then…
Re: bells on
Please, leave the bells at home. the last thing we need is some maniac with a cow bell in the livingroom.

I guess that ruins my plans for tomorrow
BTW Greg, you’ll be happy to know that we can no longer watch the olympics in the office…seems someone knocked the antenna we were using off of the cabinet it was on, and we can’t get the reception back :/

Wooooohooooo what a hockey game the women played too. Man was the ref ever biased against the canadian team, they got called for anything and everything in that game and totally deserved the win over those stinky americans. BTW for those of you who saw the medal cerimony, who thinks that the first 8 players or so on the fin team needed to have a bit of a sex check?

Who else loved Wickenheiser’s comment about signing the Candaian flag? (EG)
