Big Surprise?

Erin’s pregnant.

Ok, Rather than doing another post, and pushing this one down on the page, I’ll just edit this post, and hope you read it anyway :)

April Fools day is one of my favorite days of the year. In fact, I had a great april fools day plan for this site within days of putting it online. It wasn’t a very original plan, but it was a plan anyway. I decided to go with the “not kidding” approach this year instead, since Erin let me post the news today. She wanted to wait until after her birthday, which was yesterday. She’s due October 20th, and so we’re both pretty excited about the whole thing.

Anyway, back to April Fools Day. I found a couple of mildly amusing april fools day pranks online, and I thought I’d post about them. First, apparently Google’s success can be attributed to pigeons. Second, ThinkGeek is selling all kinds of crazy gear, ranging from Boba Fett’s Original Helmet to an infinite power generator. My favorite though, is BBSpot’s affiliation with the MSN Network. Shouldn’t surprise me though, since BBSpot is one of the funniest pages that I visit regularly. Fark has been passing comments through a dialectizer filter, which is good fun too.
