I suppose some of you have been wondering where I’ve been over the past week. Well, on Tuesday, we found out that Erin had a miscarriage. We really don’t know much except that the Ob/Gyn said that 35% of pregnancies that he sees before 14 weeks are miscarriages, and the current thinking is that they happen because of some genetic problem with the baby.
Physically, Erin is fine, and emotionally, we’re both dealing with it. I’d request that if you want to express sympathy or whatever, either comment here, or email Erin or myself rather than calling. I think both Erin and I would rather not talk about it to everyone, since telling and re-telling the same story can get a little stressful.
Thanks.

I’m told that you aren’t the only one…Bob’s gf, Christine, had a miscarriage in Dec (not that they knew she was pregnant at the time…Bob’s a bad boy)

We’re deeply sorry for your loss and can only imagine what it must be like.
Take care (the both of you).
