He started on the first line with Yashin, and by the end of the year he was riding the third line. I still think he's a great player, he just didn't have a stellar year. I am pretty dissappointed in Milbury for making the trade, although the isles had the second highest goals for last year in the east, so they can afford to lose some glamour and gain some grit. I think he was underused in Montreal - he had a pretty decent playoffs (when he was put in the lineup) so I expect that Milbury will be happy with his pickup. Montreal threw in a 5th round pick too.

Did you hear that the canadiens picked up Czerkawski in a trade with the isles? I dunno who the isles got, some rookie type guy from the sounds of it.
