I went to get the car’s oil changed today. Boy I hate that “Great Canadian Oil Change” place - I’m not sure why I ever go there. I suppose it’s because I forget how bad it was last time. In fairness to the rest of the chain, it’s really only the one at 8th and Acadia that’s annoying to me.
When it came time to pay, I couldn’t find my credit card, and since I didn’t have my wallet, it was just lucky that I had close to the right amount of money. Still not quite enough, so I had to leave my watch, and come back with more money. I did find my credit card in my back pocket before I left, but the guy had alread rung it in as cash, so he wouldn’t take my credit card. If he hadn’t had my watch already, it would have been a different story I guess.
After that, I went to see “The Scorpion King” which is a decent action movie, though The Rock could use some dialect lessons before his next movie. Better than “Hercules in New York” at any rate…

I went to the Great canadian Oil change on 22nd this past Saturday. There was one car in the bay, and one car ahead of me. To make a long story short, I got in Line at 4:00, and drove out at 5:23!!!!! Never again. I’m writing the pres. for a refund, and to complain.

Oh I went to the one in North Vancouver and they lied to me about the service needs. I needed an oil flush, a transmisison change and a bunch of other fabrication. If I didn’t know cars I might have spent a couple of hundred, but I knew exactly what was going on. Any how there was a problem and I went back to recieve abusive treatment and the last thing they said was “go tell as many people as you please” so here I am. They bordered on fraud and maybe crossed the line.
If you don’t know cars beware. They are out to rip you off.
