Whoops - wrong team.

So, I got my signals crossed up a bit regarding what field the game was at. I was back a game on the schedule, due to me being an idiot. It was kinda funny though, I went to Archibald, to see a couple of people in orange shirts warming up.

“A couple of subs” I thought. “Gee, they sure know how to handle a disc.”

I warmed up with them for a bit, and a few more “subs” showed up - several of them wearing what appeared to be a team jersey - not for my team though. Whoops! I drove home, and looked at the schedule again - Not Archibald, Brevoort Park. Oh well, I hadn’t missed much of the game - it was only 3-0 for the other team when I showed up - we managed to score the next two (to make it 3-2) and then let them take over the game - 13-4 I think. I stayed after the game for a bit to practice my throws with a handful of people from my team, and made some improvements to my technique. Thursday should be a good game, since we’re playing the only team we’ve beaten twice, and with all our subs - it should be competitive. Not to call down our subs, because they played admirably for a first game ever, but a half season worth of experience really shows. I know I played a lot worse than they did in my first game or so…

Like Superman? Always wanted to read the first edition, but could never afford the $1.8 million price tag? (approximately ;) Check out the Action Comics No. 1 that somebody posted on the web. Pretty neat.
