I realized today that I’ve been using a pad of yellow sticky notes as my own little PDA. It’s got lots of ram, and the battery life on it is fantastic. Occasionally the handwriting recognition breaks down, but that’s my own fault. The only problem with it is synching it up with my desktop machine, but even that isn’t so bad, since I can just take entries from my little yellow PDA and put them right on my computer’s monitor, or case, or keyboard. Hey, it even interfaces with other people’s computers the same way. I don’t even have to worry about what OS they’re running, or anything.
I’ve even got a game for it, though it’s pretty boring:
| X | O | |
| O | O |
There aren’t a lot of things that a cheap Palm can do that my PDA can’t.
