A while back, my older brother Jon, and one of my younger brothers, Dave, decided they wanted to go to Montreal to see the Expos play one time before they are no more. I heard the plans, and thought it sounded like fun, so I invited myself along. Bryan (another younger brother) then decided that if I was going, it would be worth him going too (er, well, maybe that’s not how it happened, but let me have my illusions) Now all we need to do is convince Darren that he needs to come along. I doubt that’ll happen.

At any rate, Jonathan, David, Bryan and I are driving out to Winnipeg Thursday August 29th, flying from there to Montreal on the 30th, and watching them play the Braves in a 3 game series - possibly a game against the Phillies too before we come back. I think it’ll be a lot of fun.

Computer issues. The computer that I put together from spare parts is up and running, and in fact I used it to burn a CD with photos on it, but I can’t get the video card drivers working properly, so it’s stuck in 640×480 and 16 colors. That makes for some real problems, especially when the OK button on a large dialog is off the bottom of the screen. I’ll have to get the driver CD from Bryan at some point, since I can’t get the drivers off the net (damned old video cards…) I haven’t hooked up the scanner yet, to post a certain picture that mom really likes, mainly because it’s not really feasible to scan in 16 colours. Everything looks like crap.
