Don’t put salt in your eyes

It was sure hot out there for our final Ultimate game of the year. We managed to lose quite badly, so we finished second last overall. Anyway, with the heat, I kept getting sweat in my eyes. Boy that stings.

As a further update to the eBay saga - I was outbid at the last second again on Friday’s auction, but nobody bothered to try me on today’s, so I got it for the $45 that I was hoping. I entered the payment info, and if we’re lucky, it might be here before I leave for Montreal on Thursday.

Last night Bryan and I booked the hotel room, so we know where we’re staying now. The trip is kinda sneaking up on me - I don’t even have any plans yet. I’ll have to do some research on Montreal’s sights and sites.

And last, but certainly not least (well, unless you weigh her, cause she’s still pretty tiny) Erin and I went over to Jason and Amy’s tonight for dinner and a visit, and got to meet Mya. She’s a real cutie, as the pictures on his page will attest to. Super quiet too - I think she only squawked a couple of times all evening, and those times were pretty short. Erin was pretty eager to hold the baby. I think she’s going to want one soon (like say, the middle of February)

Oh, that reminds me… When we were getting ready for the game this morning, we were all doing stretches, and someone said they couldn’t do a stretch, because it made her want to throw up. The guy who was leading the stretches said “Maybe that’s what our team needs - more throwing up.” to which I replied “I brought Erin.” A couple of the people there didn’t know Erin is pregnant, so they just thought I was a jerk until I explained it. In fairness to Erin, she’s been feeling quite a bit better, I think we’re done with the worst of the morning sickness. Doctor’s appointment on Monday, which was supposed to be yesterday, but was rescheduled because the air conditioner at the doctor’s office was broken, and it was unbearably hot (apparently.)
