Which Clint Eastwood movie is it?

For a Few Dollars More the CBC could have kept Ron Maclean. Personally I think it’s a good thing for him to see what’s out there on the open market for a guy of his talent. If I were the guys at TSN right now, I’d give serious thought to signing him right away. Am I upset at the CBC for not meeting his demands? No. They’re a public broadcaster, and I’m actually kind of shocked that they’re paying Cherry as much as they are. HNIC is a great institution, and it’s survived lots of big broadcasters going away, and it will survive this.

The Good - the replacement 5100 came yesterday, so we’re back to pausing TV. In fact, I sat there with the TV paused for a bit last night, just because I could. I really really missed it.

The Bad - last night I couldn’t get an IP on the laptop, so I couldn’t get on the network. I thought that maybe it was the wireless connection, but when I hook it directly into the wire, I get the same response. I’m going to slowly eliminate things all the way back to the router, which I suspect is the real problem.

and The Ugly - well, not really. I managed to finish Sly Cooper in the half hour or so that I had before it was due to be returned. It turns out that I was a lot closer to the end than I thought. Definately worth the rental, and it kind of looks like Sony is going for a “franchise” type of thing with it. Hopefully they make the next one a little longer.
