That snow from last Thursday is still hanging around. It kind of looks like it’s here to stay, which sucks. Who knows though, we could end up with a heatwave in a week that melts it all away. I don’t mind snow usually, but I’m not ready for winter just yet (for whatever reason.) It’s not like it’s that early in the year even anymore - I remember a couple of years back when we got over a foot of snow on Thanksgiving weekend while we were out in Russell.

I spent a pretty lazy weekend watching sports - football, hockey and baseball (yep - the world series sucked me in.) Baseball is a pretty good sport to watch on the PVR, since you can speed things up to 4x during the dull parts.

It sounds like they may have caught that sniper in Virginia…Good news, since there was talk of me getting sent out to Baltimore in the near future. The closest the sniper came to the warehouse I’d be working at was 15 miles - just a little too close for my comfort personally. Of course maybe they didn’t catch the real sniper. Either way, I’m pretty sure it’ll be a couple of months until I’d get sent out there anyway.
