Say what?

Every now and then, I come across something that I like, and copy it into a text file, drop it on my desktop, and forget about it completely. Then, every now and then, I clean up my desktop, and find these little gems scattered in various “New Text Document (6).txt” files. Sometimes they suck, but sometimes I find something like the following sentence:

“Scientists have shown that the moon is moving away at a tiny, although measurable distance from the earth every year. If you do the math, you can calculate that 85 million years ago, the moon was orbiting the earth at a distance of about 35 feet from the earth’s surface. This would explain the death of the dinosaurs…the tallest ones, anyway.”

Made me chuckle quietly under my breath at any rate.
