If I could be serious for a moment. With Erin being seven and a half months pregnant, we’re finally starting to get excited about the whole thing. I think that because of the miscarriage, both of us were pretty reserved about the whole thing. While everyone around us was pretty excited, and wanting lots of details, we were both kind of reserved about it. We haven’t really done a lot of the things to get ready that we should have, like preparing the baby’s room.
Today we had the second ultrasound. The first was at nine weeks, so there wasn’t a whole lot to see, and now the baby is so large that the ultrasound picture was too small to see the whole baby at once. The baby was all over the place though, moving around, kicking, punching, and basically making it hard for the ultrasound lady to get her measurements at times. I think its all a little more real now though, which is good. We got more pictures to take home, but the scanner can’t scan them, so you’re going to have to go without - at least until you see us next time.
So, that’s the story about the ultrasound that people have wanted to hear.
