I must be dreaming or something

Today, I’ve remembered no less than three distinct dreams that I had last night. Normally, I don’t give much thought to my dreams, but sometimes they’re just downright strange. Like for instance, the one dream that I can share with the group (the other two centered around Christmas presents, and I wouldn’t want to ruin the surprise) was about how I discovered that a local grocery store was drugging the mandarin oranges with a mind control drug. The purpose of this nefarious plot was to turn their customers into unthinking sheep, thus allowing them to raise prices without losing customers to the competition. Pretty weak, especially since I haven’t watched “Strange Brew” for quite a while.

On of the other dreams involved me catching some kids shoplifting the thing I’m hoping to get for someone as a Christmas present, and the other involved someone already having the thing that I was thinking of getting them as a “contingency” gift – in case I can’t get the thing that I want to get for them. Clear enough? Yeah, I thought so.

Speaking of dreams – I think the name of the fabric on our new furniture is “Dreamfibre” – it’s apparently going to be delivered in about four weeks. Erin told me this yesterday, which would put the delivery day right smack dab on December 25th… I somehow doubt that it will be delivered that day. It will be nice to get it finally though. Now we have to figure out if we want to put the old stuff in the basement, or do something else with that room.

Simspson’s quote of the day: “Mankind has always dreamed of destroying the sun.” – Mr. Burns (I bet you thought I’d go for “Sleep – that’s where I’m a viking” didn’t you?)

Last night I dreamt I was fishing on a really big lake and catching these weird looking fish with big bellies.

Rhonda woke up and wanted to know if we’d been fighting, and if we had, about what….apparently she’d dreamt we had a shouting match about something or other and woke up ready for a fight ;)

I dreamt I was losing my hair one night. It was strange, I had just finished a bike race (which I lost by a hair), and when I washed my hair, there was very little of it left on top. Talk about a nightmare :P
