I’m baaaaack

The weekend was fun – I rented NHL Hitz 2003, NFL Blitz 2003 and Redcard 2003 (Soccer in the same style as the other two.) As it turns out, Hitz is the only one of them worth playing. As Jason points out, Hitz lacks a certain polish. For what it’s worth, I think that 2002 is maybe a better game, not really exhibiting the same problems with slowdown and glitchiness. I don’t know what caused the slowdown, but it wasn’t pretty when it happened. Still a lot of fun though.

The table hockey tournament was fun, I managed to lose out in the first round of the playoffs though. I think people were having a lot more fun with Hitz though. We set up a franchise and played through the first level, which was good clean fun. Sunday, Darren came over, and we set up a different franchise, and played through two and a half levels. It was a little better, since we had some continuity from one game to the next (instead of switching controllers all the time)

2003 was a little buggy, but 2002 has me tempted.
