First off, sorry for the lack of post yesterday - I had to take Erin in to the hospital for some tests, the results of which we will learn tomorrow. I won’t say much more about it here, but don’t worry, Erin and the baby are both doing fine. (Well, technically Erin is feeling crappy because of a cold, but you get the picture…)
Monday night, Erin and I went to Fuddruckers for supper. I hadn’t had a Fuddruckers burger in a long time, so I quite enjoyed it. On my way out to the car, I passed a family with four kids ranging in age from about 3 years old to 12 years old. As I was walking by, one of the kids said “Mahna Mahna” (Not to me, just out loud.) One of his siblings replied with “Do doo do do do.”
I almost dropped on the floor in surprise. I remember seeing that muppets bit when I was quite young, and other than the catchiness of the tune, I didn’t think it was that remarkable. I like it, but I was quite surprised to see these young children familiar with it. I mentioned it to Erin, and she said she wasn’t familiar with it. Google to the rescue - I found a link where you can download the MP3, or the video. Here’s another link where you can find the video. The warning on that first page is quite accurate. The tune will get stuck in your head, but not in a bad way.
