As Jason pointed out, William has a very expressive face. He makes the cutest faces all the time, but for some reason never when the camera is handy/ready. It’s actually quite comical, because I keep trying to take pictures of some of his cuter expressions, but by the time I’m ready to take the shot, he’s cranky, and making less cute faces/turning red from rage.

I guess what I’m trying to say here is that I don’t have any pictures to post for you.

Saturday was the second in what appears to be a long string of baby showers for the Erin/William dynamic duo. Uncles Dave, Bryan and Darren came over to avoid the Estrogen Overload™ at Mom and Dad’s. We wound up renting NHL Hitz 2003, and playing it. Sunday, Uncles Dave and Bryan came over to play some more. It’s a good game, but it has some issues, such as crashing mid-game and not saving games properly which make me never want to buy it.

Speaking of Playstation 2 games - I’ve been playing “Escape from Monkey Island™” quite a bit lately. It’s a pretty fun little game, and can be played one handed while I hold William in the other, which is a bonus. Last weekend when I was playing, I suddenly couldn’t move or do anything else. It had been a couple of hours since I’d saved it, so I saved my game, did a restart, and still couldn’t move. It was a very strange thing, since after loading that game, I couldn’t move in a “new” game either. Unfortunately, due to the way saved games work, I had to start over again from the beginning, since I hadn’t backed up my saved game (a practice which I am engaging in regularly now) Luckily, since it’s a puzzle game, it took significantly less time to get back to where I was than it took to get there in the first place Anyway, I’m now ahead of where I was before, having just arrived on Monkey Island™ and preparing to escape from it.
