I love April first. I love little harmless pranks in general, but on April first, people, places and websites that wouldn’t normally play a joke play pranks. I’m even taken in by them on occasion. Slashdot usually has a bunch of good April Fool’s stories, but this year, I’m not nearly as amused by them as in years past.

Someone was telling me that there’s a story in the paper about big fines for not taking your Christmas lights down. Boy, that really ticks me off. I mean, what if people want…Hey, wait a minute, that must be a really lame attempt at an april fool’s joke. Boo.

Unfortunately, with all of the William stuff going on, I haven’t really had much of a chance to come up with anything on my own this year. Any suggestions for next year? Any really good ones that you’ve seen around? Leave links in the comments.
