Jason, Amy and Mya came over last night for the game, as well as Jim, Judy and Jessica. We watched the Oilers beat the Stars, William scream from being too hot, and Mya being as cute as ever. Overall it was a good night, though the Sens losing to the Islanders (and getting shut out no less) was a little surprising.
My hope is that the Oilers don’t get complacent and think that the series will get any easier now that they’ve won the first game. I’d really like to see them beat the stars for a change. Tonight’s games should prove to be interesting. I’m going to attempt to watch the Vancouver game, but I don’t know if I’ll get the chance.
Oh - as an interesting side note (especially to any of you Americans who maybe don’t understand the hockey mania that grips this country every spring) - ExpressVu added Ottawa’s CBC channel for the playoffs, so last night we had our choice of games. I watched the first half hour of Ottawa/Islanders, then over to the Oilers game.
