Have a happy easter everyone!

As I mentioned yesterday, Erin, William and I are driving out to Calgary tomorrow. That means that there likely won’t be a post tomorrow. I did remember some observations that I’ve been meaning to make here though.

A while back, two city police officers were convicted of driving an intoxicated native man to the outskirts of town and dumping him there. One of the officer’s is named Munson. Just thought that was quite a coincidence.

Dennis Miller lost all of my respect last week, when he made an appearance on “The Daily Show” He made some incredibly stupid/racist remarks, specifically supporting racial profiling based on the fact that the September 11th terrorists all belong to a visible minority. Newsflash - there are billions of people who belong to visible minorities that were not involved with that (or any other) terrorist act. 16/1,000,000,000 is an awfully small number when you think about it.

What amazed me about it though, is that Jon Stewart was actually laughing along with him. Apparently it’s funny when it’s happening to others. Maybe he just didn’t realize what the implications were.

Simpson’s quote of the day: “Oh, no, please no. I have a funny story if you listen. I even wrote theme music, here listen. Ha ha, mm-m hey hey.” - Professor Frink
