Well, at least it was only a couple of days

Erin and I seem to be over most of the food poisoning related problems. I was feeling a little woozy for a couple of minutes this morning, but it seems to have died right down. Now all I have to deal with is all the embarassing questions about why on earth I would be eating ground beef still. ;-)

Everyone who knows me even peripherally knows that I don’t put much stock into media scares. SARS didn’t frighten me, West Nile doesn’t scare me either. If I believed that they were truly something to worry about, I would start worrying about them, but they are nowhere near the level of even casual concern for me. The whole Mad Cow kerfluffle doesn’t faze me right now. I’m more concerned with what it will do the the local economy than I am concerned that I will die from Mad Cow disease. That’s not to say that I’m going to go out seeking cows brains to eat - I’ve never had any desire to eat brains of any sort. Well, other than Rat Brain Soup I suppose ;-)

So now that that’s out of the way…The site was down for a while yesterday, because the IP address of the server changed. Sorry about that. When it happens, it takes a while for me to notice (especially if I’m at home, because everything still works on my local network) but once it’s brought to my attention, it shouldn’t take more than a couple of minutes to fix it. If you notice the site down, emailing me at the nodecam.com addresses doesn’t work either, which makes it a little more difficult to contact me too ;)
