There was no space, but there was a b. (I get to look at raw coment text.)
I think it has to do with the html stripping routine. I’ll look into it when I get a chance. In the mean time, just use bbcode (ie square brackets) which gets translated properly ;-)

Actually, looking at your post again, I’d bet that it’s because you nested your tags improperly - caused the parsing code to go a little haywire. You had <b><i>just</b></i> which caused the parsing code to break.
Still a problem, but try writing correct HTML next time ;-)
