So to recap, last Tuesday I went to the doctor, and she told me to get blood tests and an ultrasound done. Last Wednesday I gave the blood sample and peed in a cup, then we went to Erin’s aunt and Uncle’s for supper.
Thursday night, Erin’s Mom came into town from Calgary. Her plane was delayed, so William had extra time to play in the play area at the airport (note - this is not the same as the area called “security”) He was having a great time playing with a bunch of other kids, even going so far as to give one older kid a big hug. It was pretty cute.
Friday, we tried to bake a birthday cake, changing the recipe slightly. I’m not sure if it was the substitution that we made in the recipe, or if I just took it out of the oven early, but it was still liquidy, and we didn’t realize it until it had cooled for 10 minutes. That just meant that we’d have to make another one on Saturday.
Saturday, we had Erin’s Aunt, Uncle and cousin Jess over for William’s birthday party (part 2.) It was good, and William had a good time again.
Sunday, we drove Erin’s Mom to the airport, and my time off was done.
Looking back, it looks like we didn’t do much, and I suppose technically, we didn’t, but having a severe pain in my side took out a good part of the start of the week’s enjoyment, and when coupled with the fact that the wireless network didn’t want to work, it made for a pretty crappy start of a week off. Overall though, it was good to have the time off to hang out at home, and play with William. He became a real daddy’s boy.

Gee, good point.
I hope I’m not pregnant - William doesn’t need a brother or sister just yet.
(What was that Arnold movie where he got pregnant? Junior, if I recall correctly.)
I’ll give you the “Flyers rule” thing, though only for Pennsylvania

Hi Greg,
That mysterious pain in your side sounds a lot like kidney stones. It happened to me last summer. Woke up one morning and BOOM, there it was. If you see your doctor again ask him if that might be it. If it is kidney stones I’ll expand on my persoanl experience on getting rid of them. Oh joy.
