Yesterday afternoon we had some strange weather here. The sky was dark, and it was windy, and suddenly out of the sky came this white fluffy rain. By the time I headed home for work it had stopped, but the sky had something else in store for me. I work on the 9th floor of an office building, and my view is unimpeded by taller buildings, so I have a good view of the sky. Most of the sky was black with clouds, but there was this one stripe just above the horizon that was blue. It stretched for the entire view from my office, which is probably 120 degrees or so. There were clouds, then this stripe of blue sky, then more dark clouds just above the horizon. It would have made a pretty cool picture - especially since it wasn’t really visible from the ground. alas, I don’t carry a camera with me.
