Tonight will be the maiden voyage of the projector in the new house. I mentioned previously that Erin, William and I watched The Incredibles on the patched drywall, and it was passable. Well, over the weekend, I finally found some time to sneak downstairs and throw a coat of primer on the drywall. It’s far from perfect, but it’s a much better screen than the bare drywall was. I plan to throw another coat or two of primer on it before investing in some screen paint to put up a proper screen.
Tonight we’re having people over to watch a movie on the wall - Granted it’s the Incredibles again, but still, it’s the thought that counts. Of course I still haven’t hooked up the stereo in it’s final configuration, and the centre channel speaker isn’t up, so we’ll have to watch in stereo instead of surround sound. In general, it’s far from ready for prime time. Still, we’ve been in the house for quite a while now, so it’s well past due.

I can’t wait until you have that thing up and active full time. Too bad that it woulnt’ be ready for the gold medal game of the World Championships. Maybe you could get a few CFL games in, though? :P
