We took William out to the park last night on his bike, and he started getting the hang of pedalling. Once he gets going, he can do a few rotations of the pedals before he forgets what he’s doing and slams on the brakes :) I think he might be tooling around on his bike by the end of the summer, no guarantees of course, be he’s made a lot of progress.

Now if only he realized that he can steer the thing.

At one point he hit the grass at the side of the path, and one training wheel was high enough to pull the back tire off the pavement. He pedalled furiously - exercise bike style - until I pulled him off the edge. He really enjoys his bike.
