The weekend was good. Friday night we went to my parents’ place for supper with my aunt and uncle, as well as my cousin and his wife and kids. We had a good, if brief visit with them again on Saturday night at our place. The weather was very co-operative, with beautiful evenings on both occasions.

Last night, we went to Jason and Amy’s for Mya’s Third Birthday Bash. It was good, but William’s expiry date passed before we left. Overall he didn’t misbehave too badly, but it was time to go home when he sat on his finger painting.

I’m going to bounce around back to Saturday though. The idea that we would be having people over to see the house on Saturday evening motivated us to spend the day cleaning (in shifts, since supervision was required throughout the day.) I think we did a remarkable job, though the house was far from tidy when we were done. At least it wasn’t as bad as normal ;)

Sunday, Erin and I combined to bake some non-dairy buns. Erin’s really struggling with the non-dairy diet, and having buns around that she can eat will help the situation hopefully.
