We’ve been working on getting William into a bedtime ritual lately, and it seems to be working somewhat. He loves his baths - when the last of the water drains out of the tub, he invariably asks me if he can have another bath… Anyway, part of the new routine is that Erin takes William up to bed, and I stay downstairs with Julia, and wait for the “all clear” signal. While I was waiting last night, I started looking for music for the third annual kids’ slideshow. I think we’ll have lots of photographic ammunition, but it gets harder and harder to find appropriate music with each slideshow.
That reminds me - I was supposed to make copies of the rehearsal slideshow for people, and I totally haven’t done that. Whoops.
It’s a little hard to believe that Julia was born five months ago already. She still just a tiny little thing - especially compared to her brother, who will soon be carrying blondes up the side of the Empire State building if he keeps up his pace. I think we need to post more pictures on the kids site.

I was trying to find info about Fajita Willy’s in Saskatoon, and Google spit out your website. I was scanning your posts to see what you’d said about the restaurant, and names started to look familiar. I realized that I know Erin, and I’ve met William, too. I am the treasurer for the Wednesday night LLL group. I had heard that Erin had had a baby some months ago, so I was quite delighted to read about Julia, and I’m glad she’s doing well. My husband is a pediatrics resident at RUH, so he may know Julia. I’d ask him, but he’s off to Regina to see the Roughriders. He is also a big poker fan, and has a set of chips that we got him for Father’s Day (they are Roughrider green and white).
