The whole thing seemed creaky, like it had been driven pretty hard, so we left it at that. I think if we hadn't been able to make a deal on the van we did, we would have gone back to the drawing board and put everything back on the table - likely would have wound up with a Ford, since they're relatively inexpensive, and we might have gotten more on the tradein. They usually only have about 25000km's and you can still finance them over 5 years.You save alot compared to a new one and probably can get a few more options on it as well.
