It's not so much that we don't want him having any candy, just that a stocking full of chocolate and jelly beans would have had him bouncing off the walls. The biggest problem is that after just a bit of sugary stuff, he gets ornery when you tell him he can't have the rest ;) He gets pretty wound up when he eats a bunch of candy, and he’s got a sweet tooth, so he doesn’t want to stop eating it until it’s all gone (at least that’s what we learned after Halloween.)
