I picked up a laptop harddrive yesterday, and installed it in the laptop. Small problem - I can’t find the rescue disks that came with the laptop to save my life. I then downloaded a Gentoo CD, but couldn’t get it going without network connectivity, and I didn’t feel like doing the install downstairs with the wired connection. Not a huge deal, but by the time I was ready to start installing, it was getting a little late. Tonight, Erin is going to give a brief speech at the hospital, so I likely won’t get a chance to work on it until tomorrow - even that is looking pretty sketchy, and then Thursday night is poker night… Next thing you know, it’s the weekend, and we’ll have company. Then I’ve got a week off - should be able to get the job done then :)
