With Erin and the kids gone, the weekend was pretty low key, and very very quiet. I somehow managed to go grocery shopping twice, and made myself a nice lasagne. I really need to start trusting my cooking instincts though - the recipe didn’t say to put Mozza on top of the whole thing, and it looked odd when it was done because of it. Very tasty though, and even better today as leftovers for lunch.

I basically took the weekend to unwind and catch up on all the TV that I’ve recorded and not watched over the last couple of months. I watched a bunch of poker while reading, caught up on The Daily Show, and watched all the football from last week. Talk about some crazy CFL finishes - the league is highly entertaining this year, and with all the parity, 6 of 8 teams are shaking their heads and saying “we’re a better team than our record indicates.”
